Inter Milan prepare to face Cagliari in Sardinia on Saturday evening and it has been over ten years since the two teams last drew a match on the picturesque Italian island.

The last time the two teams drew at Cagliari’s stadium was in September 2013, when they battled to a 1-1 draw thanks to goals from Radja Nainggolan and Mauro Icardi.
Since then, Inter have won nine times whilst I Sardi have won just once.
The two sides have drawn at San Siro since, with a 2-2 draw in Lombardy in the 2023-24 season.
Inter and Cagliari also finished level in the same match in 2020. However, these are the only other two times they have drawn at all since the 2013-14 season, when both the home and away legs finished all square.
