Al-Hilal officially sign Crysencio Summerville

Crysencio Summerville has officially completed his move to Al-Hilal, ending Manchester United’s hopes of signing one of their top attacking targets this summer.

United had tracked the Netherlands international for several weeks.

Michael Carrick wanted more competition on the left wing, especially while Marcus Rashford’s future remained uncertain.

The Red Devils even held direct talks with West Ham United over a potential deal earlier in the transfer window.

Al-Hilal confirm Summerville signing

Al-Hilal have now officially announced the signing of Summerville through the club’s official website after completing all formalities.

The Dutch winger joins from West Ham United in a deal worth an initial £68.23 million.

Summerville arrives in Saudi Arabia after an impressive World Cup campaign with the Netherlands.

He scored twice and provided two assists during the tournament, attracting interest from several clubs across Europe.

Roma pushed hard to sign the winger and continued negotiations until the final stages.

However, Al-Hilal secured an agreement with both West Ham and the player before completing the transfer.

Manchester United had admired Summerville for much of the summer.

Carrick viewed him as a strong option to strengthen the left side of his attack.

Despite that interest, United refused to enter a bidding war as Al-Hilal increased their offer.

The club have instead focused on strengthening other areas of the squad.
