Al-Nassr returns to Al-Awwal Park at the top of the table, looking to continue a dominant streak under Jorge Jesus.
The league leaders have won 19 games in a row across all competitions, including 14 straight in the Saudi Pro League. With 76 points from 29 matches, they are currently the favorites to lock up the league title.
However, Al-Ahli arrives as a dangerous opponent in third place. They are full of confidence after recently defending their continental crown, securing a second straight AFC Champions League title with a 1–0 win over Machida Zelvia.
Having already beaten the leaders 3-2 earlier this season, Matthias Jaissle’s team is one of the few sides to find a way past them. They’ll be confident they can pull off a similar result this time around.
Al-Nassr is dealing with a few injuries heading into the match. Mubarak Al Buainain is out for the long term with a knee injury, and Raghed Najjar is also unavailable.
Sami Al-Najei’s status is uncertain, so the team will check on him right before the game starts.
Despite these gaps, they still have a powerful squad, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Felix leading the charge.
On the other side, Al-Ahli is in great shape. Their only major absence is Ali Majrashi, who has a hamstring injury.
Edouard Mendy will be in goal, supported by defenders Merih Demiral and Roger Ibanez. Up front, Ivan Toney will lead the offense following his impressive scoring run this season.
