The Manchester United Goal of The Season award for 2023/24 has gone to Alejandro Garnacho following his acrobatic finish at Everton.

Everyone remembers the 19-year-old’s remarkable overhead kick against Everton at Goodison Park in November.

That is why it shouldn’t surprise anyone to see Garnacho win the club’s goal of the season accolade.

The academy graduate executed the acrobatic finish following a floated Diogo Dalot cross. The young forward had a lot of work to do as he flung himself into the air and made a perfect connection with the high ball.

Garnacho’s unforgettable strike will come as one of a few positives in what has been a disappointing season for the Reds. Hopefully, the team can end the campaign on a high note by beating Man City in the FA Cup final on Saturday.

This season’s goal of the season claimed 74% of the vote share, as per ManUtd.com, with Kobbie Mainoo’s curler against Liverpool finishing second. Mainoo had another goal voted in the top 5 after his solo winner at Wolves in February.

Amad Diallo’s amazing extra-time winner against Liverpool in the FA Cup and Marcus Rashford’s belter against Man City were among the top listed goals.
