Multiple sources claim Massimiliano Allegri will leave Juventus at the end of the season, but Tuttosport warns the Bianconeri will need more than a managerial change to become title contenders in 2024-25.

Allegri is set to leave Juventus at the end of the current campaign despite a contract expiring in June 2025.

Juventus expert Romeo Agresti and Tuttosport report on Monday that the Livorno-born coach will ‘inevitably’ walk out of the Allianz Stadium at the end of the season.

The Old Lady reached the Coppa Italia Final and qualified for the Champions League this term, but they have only earned 15 points in the last 15 matches, and their playing style in the second part of the campaign has raised eyebrows.

However, both Agresti and Tuttosport warn that parting company with Allegri can’t be the only change for the Serie A giants in 2024-25.

Allegri set to leave Juventus but Bianconeri and Giuntoli warned

“Juventus must build a sporting area and deeply revisit the team,” Agresti wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Likewise, Tuttosport editor Guido Vaciago wrote that the Bianconeri’s rebuild “will be difficult” and that a new coach, whether Thiago Motta or somebody else, “won’t solve all problems.”

Vaciago also noted that Juventus director Giuntoli will have to “strengthen internal discipline” given that Juventus have been disjointed since losing to Inter in February when it became evident to footballers that winning the Serie A title was too much of a stretch.

Juventus players were clearly not motivated enough in the second part of the season, and even if Allegri could not turn things around, Tuttosport noted that the club should have done more to maintain strictness inside the dressing room.
