Paris Saint-Germain are preparing for what their squad will look like next season in a post-Kylian Mbappé. As a result, the capital club have seen their name linked to various forwards over the last few months, one of them being FC Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal.

According to the report from Le Parisien, negotiations could start between the clubs if the player expresses the desire to leave Barcelona, as manager Luis Enrique is a big fan.

However, SPORT is reporting that the Catalan club has deemed the 16-year-old Spanish winger non-negotiable, effectively shutting the door on a potential departure during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Yamal is under contract until June 2026, with a release clause set at a staggering €1 billion, which naturally deters any potential suitors. According to Spanish press reports, Barcelona purportedly has an agreement to extend the player’s contract until 2030, with the signing expected to be finalized when Yamal reaches legal age.

With Barcelona still in a delicate financial situation, players like Yamal are gold to them, considering his potential. He didn’t cost them anything since the forward came up through their youth system.
