Alejandro Garnacho scored one of the most aesthetically pleasing goals the Premier League has ever witnessed during Manchester United's recent 3-0 win over Everton.

Garnacho's bicycle kick at Goodison Park was truly stunning but where does it rank among the best goals in EPL history?

Read on for the FanNation Futbol verdict.

The list below has been compiled based on the quality of the goals, ignoring their importance.

For example, Sergio Aguero's iconic strike against QPR that won Manchester City the title in 2012 does not score any points here.

Top 10 Premier League Goals

10. Dennis Bergkamp for Arsenal vs Newcastle (March 2, 2002)

Dennis Bergkamp scored 87 goals in 315 EPL games for Arsenal and this was unquestionably his best.

But was that perfect first touch around Nikos Dabizas deliberate or a beautiful accident?

9. David Beckham for Manchester United vs Wimbledon (August 17, 1996)

This was the goal that made the soccer world sit up and take notice of a 21-year-old David Beckham.

To have the confidence to shoot from his own half was impressive in itself, while his perfect execution of this long-range lob was simply breathtaking.

8. Pajtim Kasami for Fulham vs Crystal Palace (October 21, 2013)

A stupendous two-touch finish and an outrageous exhibition of skill to control the ball on his chest and then volley it into the top corner while running at full speed.

Possibly the best goal scored anywhere on a Monday night, ever.

7. Jack Wilshere for Arsenal vs Norwich (October 19, 2013)

This goal typified Arsene Wenger's Arsenal at their brilliant best.

A silky smooth cocktail of one-touch passing and fancy flicks.

6. Matt Le Tissier for Southampton vs Newcastle (October 24, 1993)

This was one of many heavenly goals scored by the player Southampton fans nicknamed 'Le God'.

Some people - including the member of club staff who compiled a video of Matt Le Tissier's top 10 Southampton goals a few years ago - might argue that this wasn't even his best. But it was.

5. Paolo Di Canio for West Ham vs Wimbledon (March 26, 2000)

A kung-fu-esque scissor kick from West Ham's favorite Italian needs to be seen to be believed.

Anyone who has tried (and failed) to recreate this goal will confirm how special it was.

4. Wayne Rooney for Manchester United vs Manchester City (February 12, 2011)

Had context been a factor then this might have been no.1 on my list because it sealed a famous victory in a Manchester derby.

But as magical as Wayne Rooney's overhead kick was, Garnacho's was just a little bit better in terms of technique.

3. Alejandro Garnacho for Manchester United vs Everton (November 26, 2023)

Garnacho celebrated scoring this sensational goal by imitating Cristiano Ronaldo's 'SIU' routine.

Ronaldo has scored with some superb bicycle kicks down the years, but perhaps none quite as clean as Garnacho's.

2. Dalian Atkinson for Aston Villa vs Wimbledon (October 3, 1992)

Wimbledon's defenders knew they were in trouble as soon as Dalian Atkinson collected the ball inside his own half.

They tried to stop him but three attempts to foul the Aston Villa forward all failed before he ended his Maradona-esque dribble with a perfect chip.

1. Peter Crouch for Stoke vs Manchester City (March 24, 2012)

Proof that long-ball tactics can occasionally produce goals of the highest order and also that Peter Crouch does indeed have a "good touch for a big man".

The ball did not touch the ground from the moment Asmir Begovic took a goal kick at one end until it hit the net at the other.

I was in the crowd at the Britannia Stadium for this game and the man stood behind me reacted to Crouch's stunning strike by accidentally spitting his false teeth into the back of my neck. That's how good this goal was!
