Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou confirms in-form striker Richarlison has suffered an injury.

Richarlison joined Tottenham in the summer of 2022 for a fee close to £60m but failed to live up to his expectations as he scored just one goal in his debut campaign.

And he continued to struggle until going through the knife to fix a long-term groin issue in November.

Since coming back from his surgery, he has been back to his old form, scoring 9 goals in his last 10 starts.

However, the former Everton man has suffered a fresh setback.

He missed the training this week which raised concerns that he could be out of the Palace game.

And now manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that the player has suffered a knee injury which will keep him out for three to four weeks.

Speaking to the media ahead the game, Ange said (via Football London):

“Richarlison is out for three or four weeks. He picked up a knee injury in the last game so he will be out for a little while.”

This will come as a huge blow for Richarlison as well as for Spurs.

It’s unfortunate for the player who was just starting to get back to his best form.

With him out, Spurs will have to change things up in front, with Werner most likely to come in with Son moving centre.
