As reported by TMW, the Argentina international will return from international duty in South America on Thursday, meaning that he’ll only train once with his Inter teammates on Friday, on the eve of the big game in Turin.
Inter have collected one win and one loss in their opening Serie A games, while Juventus have already collected six points thanks to back-to-back victories over Parma and Genoa.
According to Gazzetta, Inter coach Christian Chivu still plans to start Lautaro Martinez alongside Marcus Thuram against Juventus, although the Argentine could be replaced around the hour mark.
Lautaro Martinez scored a goal in Argentina’s 3-0 win over Venezuela on Thursday, becoming the fifth-top goal scorer for his national team.
