Boca Juniors have long been recognised as a major source of footballing talent, and one of their young players has reportedly caught Arsenal’s attention. The Gunners are continuing to build a squad capable of competing at the highest level, and recruiting promising players remains part of that strategy.

Arsenal already have several South American players in their squad, reflecting their willingness to look beyond Europe when identifying potential additions. They are now reportedly among the clubs monitoring Tomas Aranda, a young midfielder who has been making an impression in Argentina.

Arsenal join the race for Aranda

Aranda plays for Boca Juniors and has become one of the club’s key players since breaking into the first team this year. At 19, he is already attracting attention for his performances, with his development putting him on the radar of clubs looking to secure emerging talent before their value rises.

According to El Intransigente, Arsenal are among a number of European teams interested in the midfielder. The report indicates that several major clubs have been watching him and believe he could make a positive contribution if they manage to bring him into their squads.

Gunners continue to target young talent

Arsenal have worked to strengthen their squad with players who can contribute now while also offering room for future development. Aranda is reportedly viewed as one of the names they would like to pursue as they continue to identify potential recruits.

Boca Juniors have a strong reputation for developing talented footballers, and interest from European clubs reflects the attention Aranda has attracted since joining the senior side. However, reported interest does not mean a transfer is imminent, and Arsenal would face competition if they decide to make a formal move.

For now, Aranda remains at Boca Juniors, where he can continue gaining experience and building his reputation. Arsenal are said to be among the clubs keeping track of his progress, but any potential deal will depend on how their interest develops and whether they choose to take the next step.
