During his pre-match press conference, Mikel Arteta confirmed he will have some players back from injury, but would not be drawn on individual availability and just said: “Yes, there have been changes since yesterday.” 

Arteta also discussed the availability of Eberechi Eze and said:

“He is available. He has [been ahead of schedule], my first conversation with him after he felt a niggle, he wanted to be available the next week, we knew that was impossible. But the recovery, the will that he’s shown from day one to get back as quickly as possible, how he’s pushed the medical staff and himself to be there tomorrow, it’s just great to watch.”

Arteta was also asked if Piero Hincapie was still missing, and the Gunners boss said: “There will be changes tomorrow.”

Bournemouth Team News

During his press conference before the trip to Arsenal, Andoni Iraola revealed Junior Kroupi and Alex Jimenez returned from the international break with niggles, but both are “fully recovered and ready to go.”

He also confirmed  Lewis Cook and Justin Kluivert remain out, but Iraola did confirm his squad is “in a good place” going into the final few games of the season. It was also confirmed that Julio Soler is in first-team training, but he isn’t ready “to play a lot of minutes.” Tyler Adams and Ben Gannon-Doak are also nearing a return.
