Today's goal makes it the fourth time Ronaldo has contributed to Portugal reaching a final. Ronaldo helped guide Portugal to three finals in the past, and he did it by scoring or assisting in the semifinals.

Ronaldo's Goalscoring Record after turning 30

Currently 40 years old, Ronaldo's goalscoring record continues to impress soccer fans around the world. Since turning 30 ten years ago, his goal record with the Portugal national team is higher than the records of other elite strikers.

He scored 85 goals for Portugal after turning 30. It is higher than the all-time top scorers of elite national teams like Brazil, Germany, and England.

Neymar is the all-time goalscorer for the Brazilian national team, but his record is 79 goals. Harry Kane scored a total of 71 goals for England, which is less than Ronaldo's record after turning 30.

Ronaldo continues to chase the elusive 1000-goal mark. He is currently at 937 career goals. Retirement is not in the plans of Ronaldo anytime soon, despite being 40. The world awaits to see if he continues his career at Al Nassr, or elsewhere.
