Marcus Thuram and Nicolo Barella will be among the players to come back into the Inter Milan starting eleven against Lazio.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They report that at least six regular starters will return to the lineup for this weekend’s match.
Inter Milan take on Lazio in Serie A this weekend.
The Nerazzurri host the Biancocelesti on Sunday evening in a match that will be hugely important for both team’s ambitions.
Inter are hoping that Napoli slip up again as they did against Genoa last weekend. Therefore, they will be determined to take three points to capitalize on any such stumbles.
Meanwhile, Lazio are still pushing for a Champions League place after their dramatic draw against Juventus last Saturday.
Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi will respond to the importance of Sunday’s match with his lineup decisions.
Coming up against his old club the Biancoclesti, Inzaghi knows that three points are vital. And that it won’t be easy.
Therefore, the Inter coach will not take the same approach that he did against Torino last weekend.
The Nerazzurri boss had named a heavily-rotated starting eleven against the Granata.
That was largely out of necessity. Many of Inter’s players had put in a gruelling two-hour shift against Barcelona in midweek.
But now, those players have gotten some much-needed rest over the last week.
Therefore, Sky reports, the likes of Marcus Thuram, Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, Denzel Dumfries, Federico Dimarco, and Francesco Acerbi will all return to the Inter lineup.
