With just 2 days left in the window it doesn’t look like Chelsea are going to make a signing this month.
Their focus has always been on sales, and so far they haven’t come close to that either. There’s just not much of a market this winter, and we’re asking a premium for our players.
Trevoh Chalobah is one man who has been linked with moves away constantly, but so far it seems we’ve priced him out of any move too.
Atlético Madrid are considering move for Gabriel Paulista as he’s set to leave Valencia.
Discussions took place to be informed on conditions of the deal.

Fabrizio Romano has just Tweeted that the defender was “discussed among options” by Atletico Madrid, who ultimately thought he was too expensive.
It seems that the prices Chelsea are putting on players like Chalobah is really stopping them making moves away, and it must be extremely frustrating for the academy star who just wants to play after almost a year with very few appearances now.
We wouldn’t be surprised to see a loan go through before the window closes, to keep everyone happy.
