Attacking duo ‘on their list’, but Tottenham might need to pay over £150m to sign them

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to improve their attacking unit this summer, and they have identified Tyler Dibling and Antoine Semenyo as potential targets.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, both players are ‘on their list’, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham come forward with offers to sign them.

Signing the two players could prove to be very expensive. According to recent reports, Semenyo is likely to cost around £50-60 million, and on the other hand, Dibling is valued at £100 million.

Spurs could be priced out of a move

It seems unlikely that Tottenham will pay over £150 million to sign the two players. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. It is no surprise that they are keen on the two players. They are in desperate need of attackers.

Players like Richarlison have been underwhelming, and Timo Werner has already left the club upon the expiry of his loan deal. Tottenham are yet to make the deal for Mathys Tel permanent. They should look to invest in a dynamic attacker like Semenyo or Dibling in the summer.

Tottenham could use Semenyo or Dibling

Both players have done quite well for their respective clubs. Semenyo has been outstanding for Bournemouth, and Dibling did quite well for Southampton, even though they have gone down to the Championship.

Both players will be tempted to join a big club in the summer, and Tottenham could offer them Champions League football. There is no doubt that they could be an attractive destination for the two players. However, the asking price could complicate matters. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham decide to move for one of them in the coming weeks.

They will need to improve multiple areas of their squad this summer, and spending a substantial amount of money on two attackers might not be a key part of their plans.
