Last weekend, LAFC defeated St. Louis City 2-0 at home with two goals from Mathieu Choiniere. During the week, LAFC reached the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Champions Cup after beating LD Alajuelense 2-1 away from home and winning 3-2 on aggregate.

LAFC will play Cruz Azul from Mexico in the CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinals in April.

Austin FC has two losses in a row in the MLS, and last weekend, Austin FC lost 2-1 to Real Salt Lake.
