France and Azerbaijan will meet to play each other in the last World Cup qualifier match of their group. Both teams are in Group D of the UEFA World Cup qualification.

France will top the group, regardless of the result against Azerbaijan today. France will play in the 2026 World Cup after qualifying a few days ago by beating Ukraine.

The French national team is on 13 points after five matches played, with four wins and one draw. Azerbaijan is eliminated and will not play in the 2026 World Cup after picking up one point after five matches.

In their previous match in the World Cup qualifiers, France defeated Ukraine 4-0 at the Parc des Princes. The goal scorers for France were Michael Olise, Hugo Ekitike, and Kylian Mbappe, who scored two goals.

Azerbaijan lost 2-0 to Iceland in their previous match at home. Albert Gudmundsson and Sverrir Ingi Ingason scored for Iceland against Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan vs France will kick off at 12 p.m. ET/ 9 a.m. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 9 p.m. local time in Azerbaijan.
