Barcelona Announce New Lamine Yamal Injury News

After returning from a groin injury last weekend in La Liga, Lamine Yamal continues to suffer the same injury and is officially injured again.

FC Barcelona announced that Yamal is feeling discomfort in the pubic area after the PSG match in the Champions League a couple of days ago. The club announces that Yamal is expected to be out for two to three weeks.

FC Barcelona stated, "The discomfort in the pubic area that player Lamine Yamal has been experiencing has reappeared after the match against PSG. He will be out for the Sevilla game, and the estimated recovery time is 2-3 weeks."

Yamal played the full match against PSG in the Champions League but was unable to prevent Barcelona from losing 2-1 to the French side at home in the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium.

What Games will Lamine Yamal Miss?

Lamine Yamal is officially ruled out for the match against Sevilla this weekend at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. Yamal was called up for the Spanish national team for next week's international break.

Yamal will not play the upcoming World Cup qualifiers matches for Spain against Georgia and Bulgaria. Spain will play against Georgia on October 11 and Bulgaria on October 14. Both matches will be played in Spain.

Spain's match against Georgia will be at the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero in Elche, Spain. The match against Bulgaria will be played at the Estadio Municipal José Zorrilla in Valladolid, Spain.

Yamal is also expected not to be back for the match against Girona for Barcelona in La Liga on October 18. His return could potentially be in Barcelona's next Champions League match of the season.

FC Barcelona's next opponent in the Champions League is Olympiacos at home on October 21.
