According to MARCA, Isak is a top target for Barcelona. But with the 25-year-old reportedly valued at around €150 million, the Spanish club considers a move “practically impossible” at that price for him.
A previous report from The Telegraph revealed that Isak is more likely to move abroad than join one of Newcastle United’s Premier League rivals. The Swedish striker has been linked with both Arsenal and Liverpool, but manager Eddie Howe remains committed to keeping him at St James’ Park.
If Newcastle were ultimately forced to sell, clubs like PSG, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Barcelona would be seen as more likely landing spots than any team in England.
The Magpies currently hold a Champions League position for next season, but with only one point separating them from sixth-place Manchester City and two games remaining, missing out on a top-four finish could make retaining Isak more difficult.
