Barcelona are weighing up a cut-price swoop for Villarreal midfielder Dani Parejo.

Barca are seeking a defensive midfield addition after Sergi Busquets' departure for Inter Miami.

Jijantes says the Catalans have seen a swoop for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic fall through.

Instead, Barca are now turning to veteran Parejo.

The Catalans would seek to ferry Parejo away from Villarreal for a knockdown fee.
