Benjamin Sesko has endured a difficult start to life at Manchester United.

With just two goals since joining the club from RB Leipzig for £74 million this summer, it has not been a start that he would have envisaged.

Injury has extended the difficult start to his season, being kept out of the squad for the past four games due to an knee issue.

He has not played since the 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur on November 8th.

It has equally been a difficult start to life at United for manager Ruben Amorim.

In his first 13 months in the role, he oversaw the club’s struggles that were the biggest since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.

A 15th place Premier League finish combined with a fifth round FA Cup exit and loss in the final of the UEFA Europa League.

Sesko’s agent Elvis Basnovic has spoken on United’s manager.

He said: “Rúben Amorim is a very honest person, a good man. He is extremely professional. He is a fantastic person, an excellent coach.

“I think he has his own vision and knows how to take United to the top, but he undoubtedly needs time.”

United have endured struggles in recent games, with just two wins in their past six games. This includes three draws and a 1-0 loss to 10-man Everton at home.

They now have Matheus Cunha back from injury and Sesko is predicted to return to the pitch very soon as he aims to build his confidence in front of goal back up.
