Benjamin Sesko arrived at Old Trafford last summer, aiming to be Manchester United’s saviour up front.

The club had been reliant on Rasmus Hojlund for the two years beforehand, with the Denmark international failing to deliver consistency.

Now, in his first season for United, Sesko has shown he’s stepping up and determined to make a difference in the attacking line at Old Trafford.

This season, the Slovenia international has grabbed eight goals and an assist in 24 games, with six of his goals coming in the last seven games.

As such, Benjamin Sesko, currently acting as a super sub, is showing he has the consistency to lead United to victory.

However, the 22-year-old has now taken to social media, issuing a heartfelt plea to his 2 million followers to make a step to saving lives.

In his Instagram story, Sesko posted a link to DKMS, an international charity dedicated to fighting against blood cancer and blood disorders.

Alongside the link, Sesko commented: “Each of us can give someone the greatest gift – a chance at life.”

The statement continued: “Around the world, many patients are waiting for a matching bone marrow donor, which is why every new registration is incredibly important.

“The registration process is quick and simple, yet it can mean hope for someone who desperately needs it.

“Join the bone marrow donor registry and help save a life.

“Thank you for caring,”

It’s understood that the message was put out after a family member of Sesko’s has been diagnosed with leukaemia, as reported by Samuel Luckhurst, however at this time Sesko isn’t an ambassador of the chairty.
