Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a move to Manchester United for a considerable period as the club look to sign targets that can improve the squad.

Currently at Juventus, the forward’s future appears uncertain with the Italian club attempting to negotiate a new contract currently.

Whilst this is happening, other clubs have began to circle and are keeping a very close eye on the situation.

Bayern Munich have already made contact to sign the forward this summer whilst Premier League side Chelsea have also been linked with a move previously.

Earlier this month, the Serbia international’s demands were outlined with him wanting a salary of €8m net per year when negotiating a new contract with Juventus, a signal of his intentions should Manchester United attempt to make a move.

Now, in a shock move, journalist Nicolo Schira has reported that Besiktas are planning to make a move for Dusan Vlahovic as a free agent.

Schira also revealed that coach Vincenzo Italiano loves the striker and has had a good relationship with the forward since their time at Fiorentina together.

Vlahovic, according to the journalist, is waiting for bids from other clubs currently, too, although Besiktas are pushing to make a move possible.

The forward’s future appears more uncertain with this latest news although the transfer saga appears to be developing.

Manchester United could look to make their move in the coming weeks, if the club are to make a move, although are likely to face competition from a  number of clubs well known across Europe.

United will hope that, should the move be needed, the opportunity to sign Vlahovic will be there. Besiktas’ interest is a signal of the increasing interest that the forward is attracting, interest that is not likely to disappear in the short-term future.
