Besiktas have seen their first offer for Napoli midfielder Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa turned down, but they are also pursuing Liverpool’s Italy winger Federico Chiesa.

The Turkish side coached by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is aiming high after finishing fourth in the league this season, hoping to reinforce the squad.

Anguissa first name on Besiktas list

They have set their sights on Anguissa, with reports that an offer worth circa €10m was put forward, but considered insufficient by Napoli, who are looking for closer to €20m.

Saudi Pro League team Al-Qadsiah are also pursuing Anguissa, as the 29-year-old’s contract with Napoli only runs to June 2027.

He has been a revelation since the €17.3m move from Fulham, helping the Partenopei to win two Serie A titles.

Meanwhile, Calciomercato.it also report that Besiktas are in the hunt for Liverpool winger and Italy international Chiesa.

He is looking for more regular playing time after a campaign spent largely on the bench, but would prefer a move to Serie A rather than the Turkish Super Lig.
