Wilfred Ndidi has become a key part of the Besiktas set-up since arriving from Leicester City in the summer for £7 million.
The 29-year-old has made 25 appearances for the Turkish side, scoring two goals against Konyaspor and Goztepe, as well as grabbing one assist back in September 2025.
With the exception of two hamstring issues throughout the season, and representing Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations, Ndidi has successfully established himself under Sergen Yalcin.
However, the defensive midfielder could be on the move as Manchester United are reportedly interested in him once again as they rebuild thier midfield.
The Red Devils are set to leave Casemiro at the end of the season, with the club expected to sign two new midfielders in the summer.
The Nigeria international has routinely been linked to United, last summer and in the winter window as a potential reinforcement, however that move might be no more.
Askin Ceylan has reported that Besiktas are not interested in listening to any transfer talk for the rest of the season as they currently fight for European football.
The Turkish side are currently forth in the Super Lig, being eight points below Trabzonspor in third, the cut-off for Champions League football.
As such, they are not listening to any offers until the end of the season, with Yalcin especially keen to keep Ndidi.
While the links have been continuous for Wilfred Ndidi, given that he’s 29 years old and United are known to be looking for younger players as long-term option, it’s unlikely this will affect The Red Devils’ long-term plans.
