Tottenham fan Viddal Riley earned an impressive win at the O2 Arena in the undercard of Deontay Wilder vs. Derek Chisora. The 28-year-old entered his fight against Mateusz Masternak with an unbeaten record of 13-0, eventually outpointing the 38-year-old Pole.
After a cautious start in the first two rounds, Riley got into his groove from Round 3, before fully taking control of the fight in the next round. With the Brit almost winning every round, it needed a monumental effort in the Championship rounds from the Pole in order to turn the tide in his favor. However, he couldn’t.
Riley won the contest – 118-110, 118-110, and 119-109, as his record improved to 14-0, and he also became the European cruiserweight champion. In the post-fight presser, which also had Kalle Sauerland, the co-president of Misfits Boxing, the ‘best moment of Tottenham’s season’ was brought up.
Kalle Sauerland, also a Tottenham fan was impressed by the fact that Viddal Riley wore the Tottenham badge on his shorts. With Tottenham in dire straits, in arguably their worst season in modern football history, Sauerland called Riley rocking the badge the best moment of Tottenham’s season.
He said, “As a 35-year season-ticket holder at Tottenham Hotspur, seeing the cockerel out there tonight at the back of your shorts – the best moment of our season.”
"The best moment of Spurs' season."

Riley and Sauerland, like every other Tottenham fan, would want to see their team survive the drop as the team languishes at 17th in the PL table. With the appointment of Roberto De Zerbi recently, the fans will be hoping that there will a change of fortunes. Spurs take on Sunderland in the PL next week.
