Several of the Premier League’s biggest clubs are hunting for the signature of Bournemouth star forward Antoine Semenyo.

The winger’s contract contains a £65 million release clause that could be activated when the January transfer window opens on Jan. 1.

Semenyo has scored eight goals in sixteen league matches. The Ghanaian international has been linked to Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United.

Both Chelsea and Tottenham have reportedly dropped out of the race to sign the 25-year-old forward.

Bournemouth Manager Iraola Hopes Semenyo Will Stay

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola stated that he wishes to keep Semenyo at Dean Court.

"He has trained today with us, very well," Iraola said. "I understand that there is a lot of noise around Antoine, but my concern is that it doesn’t affect him, his performances, and we are seeing that it is not affecting his performances. He is very committed to the team, and I hope we can keep him there.

"There are situations that we cannot control, but right now, Antoine is our player, and he’s going to continue playing for us. If you ask me, I don’t want to lose him, definitely don’t want to lose him. But like we always say, every time the market opens, you never know what’s going to happen."

With Alexander Isak set to miss several months due to a fractured leg and continued uncertainty over the long-term future of Mohamed Salah, Liverpool could dip into the transfer market to sign a forward.

The Reds spent a record £446 million in the summer transfer window, including a British record £125 million deal on deadline day to sign Isak. Liverpool, Man City and Man United could be set for a three-way tug of war for Semenyo's signature.

Semenyo's £65 million release clause is a bargain given the current market. We'll likely learn in January which club is prepared to offer the highest wages and best opportunity to entice the Ghanaian ace.
