Davide Frattesi, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Benjamin Pavard will all be back to fitness for Inter Milan against Lazio this weekend.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan take on Lazio in Serie A this weekend.
The Nerazzurri host the Biancocelesti on Sunday evening in a match that will be hugely important for both team’s ambitions.
Inter are hoping that Napoli slip up again as they did against Genoa last weekend. Therefore, they will be determined to take three points to capitalize on any such stumbles.
Meanwhile, Lazio are still pushing for a Champions League place after their dramatic draw against Juventus last Saturday.
According to the Gazzetta, Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi will get several players back for Sunday’s match.
Midfielders Davide Frattesi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan and defender Benjamin Pavard all missed Inter’s last match, a 2-0 win away to Torino.
Frattesi had suffered an abdominal problem in Inter’s Champions League win over Barcelona. Mkhitaryan had picked up a thigh problem in that match.
Meanwhile, Pavard has spent the past few weeks recovering from an ankle sprain that he suffered during Inter’s Serie A loss to Roma last month.
However, reports the Gazzetta, all three of the trio are close to returning.
Therefore, the newspaper anticipates, Frattesi, Mkhitaryan, and Pavard will all be available in the squad to face Lazio this weekend.
