Billing delighted to prove Bournemouth matchwinner

Philip Billing was delighted to prove Bournemouth's matchwinner at Leicester City.

The result strengthens Bournemouth's survival chances.

Billing said, "We needed that. A massive three points. They are down there with us so there are eight games left and they are pretty much all finals for us. We need to be diligent, we could have scored four more today but we'll take the clean sheet and the three points.

"I tried to read it [James Maddison's backpass]. We spoke before the game that they like to pass it back but the pitch helped, it was dry! The three points are massive.

"You could feel the tension on the pitch and the fans turning on Leicester.

"We believe we can stay up. We have a lot of quality. We've been down there the whole season but we've won big games and could have had even more points, we've thrown a few leads away. We've got enough. We've got the passion and commitment."
