Bologna vs Inter Milan marks the second semifinal of the Italian Super Cup. Yesterday, Napoli advanced to the Italian Super Cup Final after beating AC Milan 2-0 with goals from David Neres and Rasmus Hojlund.

Bologna are in the Italian Super Cup as they are the current Coppa Italia champions after winning the competition last season against AC Milan. Inter are in this competition after finishing second last season in the Serie A.

Ahead of this semifinal, both teams arrive with different results in their previous Serie A match last weekend. Bologna lost 1-0 at home to Juventus after Juan Cabal scored a header in the 64th minute.

Bologna are 6th in the Serie A table with 25 points and have a record of seven wins, four draws, and four losses after 15 league matches played.

Inter played away from home to Genoa, where they won 2-1 with goals from Yann Aurel Bisseck and Lautaro Martinez.

That win puts Inter Milan top of the Serie A table with 33 points, and their record in the league this season after 15 league games is 11 wins and four losses.

The last time Bologna and Inter Milan played each other was in last season's Serie A campaign. Boogna defeated Inter 1-0 at home with a 94th-minute winner from Riccardo Orsolini.
