Bournemouth vs. Everton Lineups, Preview

Bournemouth host Everton at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, August 29, with both teams looking to build momentum in the second round of the 2026-27 Premier League season.

The Cherries began their campaign with a 2-1 loss to Manchester City, and Everton had a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace. The other side to join is David Moyes’ side, who have won a Carabao Cup 4-0 victory over Preston North End with Thierno Barry netting a hat trick.

Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. BST at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth have a number of injury concerns ahead of the game. Those not available include Eli Junior Kroupi, Julian Araujo, Amine Adli and Veljko Milosavljevic, and the Cherries will hope Evanilson can take over the attack from Kroupi.

Bournemouth starting XI: Petrovic; Antonio Silva, Adam Smith, James Hill, Truffert; Lewis Cook, Alex Scott; Rayan, Justin Kluivert, Marcus Tavernier; Evanilson.

Everton are likely to keep many of the players who have helped them to start their season unbeaten. Jordan Pickford is likely to be the first choice in goal, with Jarrad Branthwaite and James Tarkowski likely to remain in central defense.

Everton’s starting XI: Pickford; Merlin Rohl, Mykolenko, Tarkowski, Branthwaite; Harrison Armstrong, Tyrique George, Iliman Ndiaye, James Garner, Dewsbury-Hall; Thierno Barry.
