Brazil Wingback Reiterates How Inter Milan Is ‘Home’ After Returning To Appiano Gentile From International Duty

Carlos Augusto was among the last Inter Milan stars to return to San Siro form October’s international break.

Fresh off representing Brazil in friendlies against Japan and South Korea, he took to Instagram to show his affection for the Nerazzurri, via FCInterNews.

Brazil coach Carlo Ancelotti has brought Carlos Augusto back to the national team after a two-year absence.

Furthermore, he included the Inter wingback into his starting lineup in a stunning 3-2 defeat to Japan.

Back to the training ground after a two-week hiatus from club football, Augusto expressed his joy at reuniting with his clubmates.

Moreover, the 26-year-old took to Instagram to share a picture of himself at Appiano Gentile, accompanied by a house emoji.

Therefore, he reiterated his love for the Nerazzurri shirt once again.

Despite his limited first-team opportunities under Simone Inzaghi, Augusto never thought about leaving Inter.

Meanwhile, the club turned down Atletico Madrid’s approach in the summer, showing no intention of selling their utility man.

With Cristian Chivu in the dugout, Augusto has become a more prominent member of the squad.
