The mid-week Premier League matches will see Burnley host Manchester United at Turf Moor. Both teams are winless in their last two Premier League matches.

Manchester United sits 6th in the Premier League table with 31 points and has a record of eight wins, seven draws, and five losses.

Burnley is 19th in the Premier League table and has a record of three wins, three draws, and 14 losses.

Burnley lost 2-0 to Brighton away from home as Georginio Rutter and Ysin Ayari scored for the home side.

Manchester United drew 1-1 with Leeds United at Elland Road over the weekend. Leeds took the lead through Brenden Aaronson, but three minutes later, Matheus Cunha scored the equalizer. It was the last match for Ruben Amorim as manager of Manchester United.

Manchester United last played Burnley on August 30, 2025, earlier this season. Manchester United won 3-2 at Old Trafford with goals from Burnley's Josh Cullen, who scored an own goal, Bryan Mbeumo, and a last-minute penalty with Bruno Fernandes.
