Chivu’s Changes Work, Luis Henrique Criticised

Coach Cristian Chivu was rated positively for his substitutions, especially the introduction of Esposito.

The Romanian celebrated the youngster’s goal passionately on the sidelines as his side earned a third straight win.

Elsewhere, Alessandro Bastoni, Stefan de Vrij, and Hakan Calhanoglu were rated at 6.5.

A series of “political sixes” went to players such as:

Josep Martinez, Manuel Akanji, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Carlos Augusto, Marcus Thuram and Davide Frattesi.

The lowest grade went to summer signing Luis Henrique, who was handed a 5.

La Gazzetta criticised the winger for appearing “timid and untrained tactically” during his outing.
