Cajuste: Details behind Brentford deal with Napoli

Brentford are only days away from completing a deal with Napoli for Sweden midfielder Jens Cajuste, reports detail.

The 25-year-old Swedish midfielder struggled to settle in his debut season in Campania following his €12m move from Stade Reims, seeing just over 1000 minutes of action across 26 Serie A matches with the Partenopei.

Cajuste is not part of Antonio Conte’s project moving forward and Napoli have been contacted by Brentford, who are interested in bringing the 25-year-old to the Premier League in the coming weeks.

Fabrizio Romano highlights how Brentford have agreed to sign Cajuste from Napoli on a €1.5m loan deal with an €11m conditional obligation to buy clause attached. His move is expected to be completed next week.
