Squawka reports that Riccardo Calafiori had more touches inside Manchester City’s box than any other Arsenal player on Sunday.

Italy international Calafiori provided key support to Arsenal’s attacks against Manchester City on Sunday, as, according to Squawka, the versatile defender has seven touches inside the opposition’s box, more than any other Arsenal player.

Calafiori’s key stats vs. Man City

Calafiori played the full 90 minutes as a left-back, and aside from his attacking contribution, he also won four ground duels from eight (via Sofascore) and three aerial duels from seven.

The former Bologna and Roma defender completed 41 passes from 48 (85% accuracy), including three long balls from three.

Donnarumma concedes first goal at Man City

Arsenal scored a late goal at the Emirates Stadium yesterday to secure a 1-1 draw.

Gabriel Martinelli’s goal for the Gunners was the first conceded by Italy captain Donnarumma at Manchester City.

Calafiori has just begun his second season at Arsenal and has one goal and two assists in six appearances across all competitions this term.
