Champions League fixtures: Napoli start and finish with De Bruyne and Conte reunions

Napoli will start their 2025-26 Champions League campaign away at Manchester City, while the last match in the league phase will be away at Chelsea, a reunion between former Juventus midfielder Enzo Maresca and Antonio Conte.

De Bruyne returns to Man City for opening 2025-26 Champions League game

The Partenopei will begin their European campaign away at Manchester City, where they will see their new star, Kevin De Bruyne, return to the Etihad Stadium, having spent the previous ten years there.

It will be an exciting matchup between coaches Pep Guardiola and Conte as the Italian won four of the previous seven meetings with the Manchester City boss, leaving the Spaniard with just three wins.

Conte and Maresca reunite in Napoli vs Chelsea

Napoli’s European campaign continues with games against Sporting CP, PSV, Eintracht Frankfurt, Qarabag, Benfica, Copenhagen and Chelsea.

The final home game against the Blues will see another reunion, this time between two coaches, Maresca and Conte, who spent several years together at Juventus during their playing careers.
