Check Out Lionel Messi Debuting Inter Miami’s New Away Kit

Global superstar Lionel Messi will look to add to his trophy haul in 2026, and he will take the field in a brand new Inter Miami away jersey.

Inter Miami unveiled its new away kit, dubbed as the "Presagio" jersey, on Wednesday. Messi and the reigning MLS Cup champions are looking to become back-to-back MLS champions when the new season kicks off on February 21.

It will be a special season for the Herons, who will move into their new stadium, Miami Freedom Park, and will open the 25,000-seat venue on April 4 against Austin FC.

Messi will be looking to get his hands on a third consecutive Landon Donovan MLS MVP Award after he became the first player in league history to capture back-to-back MVP awards.

The 38-year-old captain scored 29 goals in 28 league matches to claim the MLS Golden Boot for the first time after he arrived at Inter Miami in July 2023.

A Closer Look at Inter Miami’s New Away Kit

Inter Miami have chosen a familiar black for their 2026 away kit with a button collar.

It features gray shoulder stripes and a silver star above the club's badge to commemorate the Herons' first MLS Cup title.

The "Freedom to Dream" motto is featured on the back neck below the collar.

On Friday, the club will wear the new kit for the first time against Independiente del Valle in a preseason match held at Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
