Chelsea have held talks with representatives of Man United’s Alejandro Garnacho, eyeing a bold move for the young star.

Although Garnacho has said he is happy in Manchester, his situation is not entirely certain. Chelsea could offer him a new stage, more prominence and a system that favours his style.

Moreover, for United, who have moulded him from their youth team, any income would be considered pure profit. That is tempting from a financial point of view. However, selling him to a direct competitor always carries risk. Garnacho is also followed by other European clubs, which could raise his value or push for a quick decision from Old Trafford.
