Chelsea player who has lost fans’ trust has chance to win it all back with strong end to season

Wesley Fofana has lost the trust of most Chelsea fans over the last few months, but has a great chance to win them back.

Looking at the updates given by Liam Rosenior last week, it seems like Reece James, Trevoh Chalobah and Levi Colwill will all be back from injury and available for selection before the end of this season.

That’s good news – but it doesn’t help them this weekend. The Blues are really short at the back, and the options they have available have all struggled when put into the team this season.

Fofana can earn fans’ trust back with strong end to season

Wesley Fofana has been bad since the turn of the year, and even worse he has often given the impression that he’s not too bothered about it either. Thanks to a lack of options, he’s almost certain to be playing regularly through this season-closing run, and we’re praying he takes that chance to earn the fans’ trust back.

There’s no doubt he’s our best defender available – in theory at least – we just need him to live up to his potential in this final run if we want to have a chance.
