La Repubblica newspaper reports that bonuses in Gianluigi Donnarumma’s Manchester City contract are worth up to €3m per season and include a reward for clean sheets.
Italy captain Donnarumma has just begun a new chapter of his career at Manchester City, having joined the Premier League giants for €27m on deadline day.
Football Italia already reported earlier this month that Donnarumma would earn €15m plus add-ons in his first season at the club, but his salary would rise to €17m in the final two years of his contract.
Repubblica has now reported the bonuses included in the goalkeeper’s agreement with Pep Guardiola’s side.
According to the report, the bonuses are worth €3m per season, with two being team performance-related, tied to Champions League and Premier League victories.
The other one is related to the number of clean sheets that Donnarumma will keep during each season at Manchester City.
Donnarumma arrived in Manchester after Italy’s international duty on September 9, 2025, accompanied by his agent Enzo Raiola.
