Manchester United are currently in the middle of the January transfer window, with the club looking at both players and managers who could lead United forward in the second half of the season.
So far in the window, the Red Devils have sacked Ruben Amorim whilst also hiring Darren Fletcher as his replacement temporarily.
But, following a 2-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion in the Third Round of the FA Cup, Fletcher appears to be on his way out with Michael Carrick set to replace him following an exclusive report by CentreDevils confirming the news.
Meanwhile, whilst a new manager looks to be on his way into the club, some players are looking set to leave.
One of these players is Sam Mather, who looks set to join Kayserispor following a farewell message to United fans on Instagram.
However, it is not just on the men’s side where the January transfer window is taking effect with the women’s team also in the window currently.
One player who has been linked with a move away from Manchester United is Geyse who has been linked with a move to Mexican outfit Club America.
Now, United have confirmed the news on their official website.
In a statement, the club stated: “Manchester United forward Geyse has signed for Club America on a permanent deal.
“She will now ply her trade in Mexico for the Eagles, alongside former United team-mate Irene Guerrero.
“We’d like to thank Geyse for her contributions to the club and wish her all the best for the future.”
Geyse joined United in 2023, and spent time away at Gotham FC on loan during the course of last year.
Now, following nearly three years with the club, the forward has departed the club and will begin her new journey with Club America.
