Club president is 'a massive fan' of Chelsea star ahead of possible summer move

This story just has one of those feels about it, like it is going to drag on all summer even though Chelsea wont want it to.

Real Madrid are possibly lining up a move to sign Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez this summer, and their club president is apparently a massive fan of the midfielder.

It’s a story that is dominating the papers at the moment and it looks like Fernandez really does want out of Chelsea this summer. I do believe there are briefings being pushed out by Chelsea and other sides at the moment, which is why we are seeing so much about it all out there right now.

Chelsea will not want this to drag on all summer but for me, it truly looks like it could end up doing exactly that as new reports come out every day right now.

Perez a big fan

Journalist Alex Crook of talkSPORT said on Fernandez:

“This is a player that Chelsea ideally don’t want to sell, but he has his price tag.

“I think if somebody came in and put 120 million on the table, then they would seriously consider it. Keep an eye on Real Madrid. President Florentino Perez is is a massive fan.”

Mike Penders had a good season for Strasbourg and has been picked for the best under 23 team in Europe’s top 5 leagues. He is up alongside some other top names such as Kenan Yildiz.

Chelsea were close to signing Leipzig’s in demand winger Yan Diomande after a trial a few years ago, and now probably wish they had done. Right, who said not to him then? Own up!
