Maxi Perrone is set to join Como on a permanent €13m transfer from Manchester City.
Reports in Italy claim that Argentine midfielder Perrone is set to remain at Como permanently.
The 22-year-old spent the last season on loan at the Stadio Sinigaglia, but according to Gazzetta and Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs have now reached an agreement over a permanent transfer.
Romano claims that Manchester City have allowed Perrone to undergo medical tests with Cesc Fabregas’ side before completing a €13m transfer.
Perrone made 26 appearances with Como in 2024-25, producing three assists.
Perrone spent several months on the sidelines during his first Serie A season due to physical issues, but he received regular playing time when he was fit to play.
Perrone had made just two senior appearances for Manchester City before joining Como on loan last summer.
He has also played for Velez and Las Palmas.
Como will make their 2025-26 Serie A debut at home against Lazio on August 24.
