Como have joined the race to sign Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito this summer.
This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri would want a fee of €7-8 million for the 22-year-old.
Striker Sebastiano Esposito is currently back at Inter Milan.
The Italy Under-21 international spent last season on loan with Empoli. He had a solid season individually, but this was not enough to prevent the Tuscans from being relegated to Serie B.
Therefore, Empoli have not signed Esposito on a permanent basis, despite having a purchase option.
Sebastiano Esposito is therefore at a major crossroads this summer.
One thing that seems perfectly clear is that the 22-year-old will leave Inter this summer.
Esposito is part of the Nerazzurri squad that has travelled to the United States for the Club World Cup. Therefore, he could get the chance to play at that tournament.
Moreover, Esposito could even get the chance to try and convince new Inter coach Cristian Chivu that he is worthy of a place in the squad over the preseason training.
However, unless this happens, Inter will look to move Esposito on.
According to FCIN, considering the season that the 22-year-old just had at Empoli, Inter value him at €7-8 million.
Furthermore, reports FCIN, Como have already made inquiries about the possibilities of signing Esposito.
