Jamie Vardy has undergone medical tests due to suspected muscle fatigue, and it remains to be seen whether he’ll be available for a home game against Parma on Sunday.
Local newspaper La Provincia reports that Cremonese star Vardy underwent medical examinations on Wednesday due to suspected muscle fatigue.
The report claims that Cremonese ‘promptly ordered’ medical tests for the experienced forward who had made his Serie A debut on Monday in a 0-0 draw away at Hellas Verona.
La Provincia reports that Cremonese and their new striker want to take a cautious approach ahead of their next Serie A match against Parma on Sunday, September 21.
That would be Vardy’s first home game at Cremonese. The ex-Leicester City star recently wrote on Instagram that he could not wait to play his first game in front of the Grigiorossi fans.
As things stand, Vardy’s fitness will continued to be monitored in the coming days, but the report suggest that the striker is dealing with a minor muscle problem.
