
Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo captured the Best Middle East Player Award at the 2025 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.
Ronaldo is continuing to pile up the goals despite his advanced soccer age. The 40-year-old forward has scored 13 goals across 14 games in all competitions for Al-Nassr. He also contributed eight goals in nine matches for Portugal in 2025 in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Al-Nassr sits at the top of the Saudi Pro League standings with 30 points gained through 10 league matches.
Ronaldo is yet to win the Saudi Pro League. Al-Nassr finished third last season behind second-place Al-Hilal and champions Al-Ittihad.
He led the league with 25 goals during the 2024-25 campaign.
Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Ousmane Dembele won the Best Men’s Player Award at the 2025 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.
Ronaldo previously took home the Best Player of the Year Award a record six times, five of which were while a member of Real Madrid. He scooped the award once during his time with Juventus.
He is currently participating in his fourth season in the Saudi Pro League. The former Manchester United superstar has netted 112 goals through his first 125 matches across all competitions for Al-Nassr.
