Cristiano Ronaldo has built one of the most iconic careers in football history. Now, his son is beginning to write his own story.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., just 14 years old, made waves this week after scoring his first two goals for the Portugal U-15 national team. The breakout performance came in the final of the Vlatko Markovic International Tournament, where Portugal faced Croatia with the title on the line. For young Ronaldo, it was a moment years in the making — and one that ended in style.

In the 13th minute, Cristiano Jr. got on the end of a perfectly timed through ball and fired home a left-footed shot that rattled in off the crossbar. It was his first international goal — and he celebrated it just like his father. The teenager broke into the trademark “Siu” as his teammates swarmed him.

Cristiano Jr. didn't stop there

Early in the second half, he doubled his tally with a composed header off a cross from the right wing, putting Portugal back in front. The match eventually ended 3-2 in Portugal’s favor, giving the team the U-15 championship and Ronaldo Jr. his first taste of international glory.

His debut came earlier in the tournament against Japan, where he appeared as a second-half substitute. The team dominated the group stage and powered their way to the final with standout performances — none bigger than Ronaldo Jr.'s brace against Croatia.

Proud father Cristiano Ronaldo posted on Instagram after his son’s debut, writing: “Congratulations on your debut with Portugal national team, son. So proud of you.”

The next generation has officially arrived — and the Ronaldo name is already back on the scoresheet.
