Last month, Al-Nassr had to defend their spot at the top of the Saudi Pro League without their star man, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The former Manchester United man has been out of action since the 28th February 2026 in their 3-1 win over Al-Fayha when he sustained a hamstring injury to his right thigh.

Initially, there wasn’t much concern; however, it wasn’t long before Al-Nassr boss Jorge Jesus confirmed the situation was more serious than expected.

The injury saw Ronaldo return to the Spanish capital as part of his recovery, having had a nine-year stint with Real Madrid between 2009 and 2018.

However, Fabrizio Romano has now announced that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner looks to be back to full fitness and is ready to be called up.

Al-Nassr next face 18th-place Al-Najna tomorrow night as they look to extend their lead over second-place and local rivals, Al-Hilal.

However, the side is currently on an 11-game win streak in the league despite Cristiano Ronaldo missing four games so far. While two of the games were due to injury, the other two were due to the Portugal international’s striking.

Ronaldo missed games against Al-Riyadh and Al-Ittihad to protest the Saudi Investment Fund unfairly favouring other sides and limiting Al-Nassr’s transfer potential.

Despite his absence, Al-Nassr have kept the fight going as they look to secure their first league title in seven years, and help Cristiano Ronaldo lift his first trophy since arriving in Riyadh.
