Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't hide his emotions following Portugal's big win over Spain in the Nations League final on Sunday.
After leading Portugal with a match-winning goal against Germany in the semis, Ronaldo was back at it against Spain at the Allianz Arena in the final. The Portuguese side was trailing the Lamine Yamal-led Spanish squad 2-1 after the first half, but CR7 stepped up big time and fired the equalizer in the 61st minute.
The battle eventually went to a penalty shootout, and while Ronaldo didn't take a shot in the decider, Portugal still delivered and beat Spain 5-3. Portugal goalie Diogo Costa stopped Alvaro Morata’s shot that would have tied things up at 4-4, and Ruben Neves proceeded to fire the winning spot kick.
Following Portugal's win, Ronaldo was seen crying tears of joy, simply in disbelief that he and his national team had just claimed their second Nations League trophy. The team also won in the first year of the competition in 2019.

"Reaction says it all," a fan added.
A supporter admitted, "Crying."
"So happy for Cristiano Ronaldo man. He deserved his third international trophy," a fifth follower remarked.
Ronaldo's future in football has been a major talking point recently, as there has been speculation that he could leave Al-Nassr and join a team participating in the Club World Cup. Regardless of what happens, though, Ronaldo showed in the Nations League that he still has the same level of passion for winning and the skills to make an impact on any team.
